The scientific board comprises individuals with expertise and experience in a wide range of fields located or based in Africa and the diaspora (outside Africa) or globally. The members include junior faculty (teachers and academics) and/or scientists or researchers with expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, preventive medicine, public health, sociology, economics, and mathematical modelling. The board members form the core mentor team that provides mentorship to mentees (including professional, MSc and PhD students, and junior scientists and faculty).
The student circle aims to connect professional and postgraduate students involved in research in veterinary medicine, human medicine, public health and other related disciplines in Africa. Through the student circle, EpiConsultAfrica provides an environment that facilitates networking, while nurturing and positively impacting junior scientists.
The aim of the faculty and researcher table is to connect junior faculty/teachers/academics (Teaching Assistants, Lecturers, and/or Assistant Professors) and researchers involved in research at public and/or private higher education institutions or research institutions in Africa. Through the faculty and researcher table, EpiConsultAfrica provides an environment that facilitates networking and research collaboration, while improving the scientific skills of faculty and researchers.

- Open to all individuals that meet the criteria described for mentors and mentees (students and junior scientists), regardless of country of origin or geographical location.
